Down and Out

We were down with sickness the last several days.  Can you say MISERABLE?  Well we are better now and ready to get to work on our blog.  We have been looking for deals on the Orlando, Florida area as Willie has the 5K race there in May.  We are looking for cheap airfare as well as accommodations.  We do so love the convenience of staying at the Disney Resorts.  It is a tough decision when you factor in no parking fees, and the ease of transportation throughout the parks.  It is also a huge convenience if you would like to have  lunch in your room to save money and avoid the high cost of the restaurants and vendors in the park.  Don't get me wrong we enjoy them as well, but we have to be budget conscious and three meals a day in the parks can really add up.  We will pass along all the deals that we find and would appreciate input from anyone that might have ways to cut expenses.

Spring Break

Does anyone have any vacation plans for Spring Break?  I am thinking about a camping excursion.  The hubby and I have been planning a backpacking trip for a while and I think it is time to get in gear and start packing.  We plan on a short two day trip for our first time.  We have the backpacks and the tent and have been researching what we should bring and some places to go.  Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

This time of year

This time of year makes me want to pack up and head south.  Warren is participating in a run at Disney World in May and I can't wait to go.  We absolutely love the Orlando area and of course visiting the big parks there.  He is running a 5k.  He has a lot of training to do and he needs some warm weather to help out.  What about you?  Do you have any adventures on the horizon?  We would love to hear about them.  We have been fortunate to travel to and live in several areas of the United States and would be happy to share what we know.
